The MAF does have a grill before the actuale sensor to 'straighten' the airflow and its part of the actual MAF itself.
So... removing the trumpet will have no "negative" effects right?

Considering I have a open cone filter straight onto my MAF and I have no problems

Oh yeah! On another note, do you know what size the vacuum pipe is that goes into the top of the DV? I need some more as mine keeps splitting a bit as the Forge one is slightly bigger than the OEM one!

Well, I have been away all week (went to Rome with the wife and my mum) and when I returned yesterday there was something waiting for me... my latest mod for the FR!
I bought it off a member on this forum and it should transform the handling of the FR.... Any ideas?

What did you cut your splitter with, if you use a hack saw doesn't it leave the edges rough? or do you sand them after
