arghh the dvla

who else has had an experiance like this
i got my altea as insurance cat d
this was find onli light flooding clean interior disinfected all mint
engine rebuild as one of the followers was bent got it running away i got
insured in it so i could take it to mot had it mot'd and then waited 4 the paperwork to come through so i could tax it and apply 4 the logbook as it didnt come from the insurance company
now heres the problem the previous owner didnt notify the dvla he didnt hav the car anymore so there i am insured in a car i carnt tax i have to wate to get it taxed and now its been sat on the drive for 4 weeks just sat there and i hate wating i need to develop sum patiants and i found out today its only just gone onto the dvla system so its gona take anuther 2 weeks
its like a life time i just want top drive it
so much fot the original 2-4 weeks i was told in the begining i hope no one else has had a problem like this

dvla - will always get issues similar like that

i usually apply for the logbook as soon as purchased or send off old one confirming it

i should have applyd straight away but according to the guidelines there shouldnt be a problem plus it onli tuk a few week to do so thinking we was saving time we thort we would apply wen we go 2 tax it insted of waiting four weeks brfore i could looks like the plan backfired eh

surely you can get the tax online now as the dvla are the ones that deal with it,you have to pay more to tax online only a little bit but if your that impatient then so be it. i personally wont tax online for that reason as i dont see any evidence of my tax being used to make our shyte roads any better.

i appologise for my aporling use of the english language and my sevier dyslexia
as for taxing it online that can only be done if the vehicle is registerd in my own name and registerd to my adress that is what im wating to be done

i understand your waiting for this but dont the dvla register your car and tax it so it could be worth a try if dont work at least you tryed if it does then you dont have to wait much longer apart from waiting for the tax disc. as its all done in swansea surely they will acsept your request i might be wrong but what have you got to lose in trying.

Anyone can use dyslexia as an excuse for not being able to spell, it doesn't mean you have to buy it.

i would agree with you but in this instance i do have dyslexia
why else would i get extra time in exams?
as for the dvla just about got it sorted now been 3 weeks and theve finally got it on there system doing the usual security checks so should be about 10 days mite as well wate till march now iv wated this long so far the extra day or 2 wont kill me
