Having read some more I notice that the Asymmetric Goodyear F1 looks quite good.
Think I'll try that next unless my tyre guy feels the conti's are significantly better.

The only question in my mind is have goodyear marketed it well as ALOT of
reviews exist for them.
Just because everyone else does it doesn't mean its the right thing to do.
