Hi,

Dont worry im not going ask what tyres people recommend.......lol

proberbly sound daft to some people this question....

Ive got a spare set of wheels back of me shed with tyres on, been sitting there approx 5-6 months, would these be safe to put back on my car without worrying about anything that might happen (wont explode will they)

just check tyre pressure like....?

Cheers,

Mat

yeah, i imagine they would be fine. Unless there's any obvious flat spots (if been sat on the tyre itself). But I imagine they have been left in a "pile" resting on the alloy, so should be fine IMO

I used my mates steelies while my alloys where getting refered. They had sat at the bottom of his garden for 6-7 months. The walls were a bit grainy but washed them up, had tyre pressures just about where they should be and where fine for a good 3 weeks.

EDIT: the rubber layer was quiet stiff so don't go silly on them for a while, get them warmed up first
