I ordered it about 4months ago direct from the forge website, it allowed you to specify the colour back then. If it doesnt allow you to do that now, then just give them a call, you may have to wait longer, but if your after a red hose colour scheme its well worth the wait.

I take after my DV comes that people are recommending to get the TIP next then

or would you go for the jetex filter not sure on price or where to get this??

£130 a lot though? Is it worth it for the TIP

Yeh the TIP is a cool mod, might seem alot for a bit of silicon, but search on here or youtube for tip collapse, the standard one can fold in on itself...scary to watch! Plus with the forge one you will get an increased spool up sound.....and everyone loves that :D

man what is with you and rear spacers lol

Well the question is the TIP or the FILTER

hmmm think I have enough money to get one of them but which one

Or how much would it cost for both

Reading the forum I heard the Jetex filter is the more recommended one but understand you need an elbow and joiner too?? sorry new to this

TIP i was looking on the forge website is this the right TIP? can it be fitted with standard airbox? My engine code is AYP i think

would probably just be shy of 200quid for both. filter is like 45, hose 30ish or cheaper from ebay and hose joiner, that "jetex filters" thread has everything you need to know really. Yeh the TIP would fit to the standard air box as it goes to the MAF first

Cheers dude had a read of that thread so hmm still undecided which to get next

Jetex FC-07003 - £46.10
70mm 45° Elbow Silicone Hose - £18.10
70mm O/D Alloy Hose Joiner - £8.44

Filter Total: £72.64

TIP Total: £131.62

Grand Total: £204.26

hmm don't think I can afford both just yet, is the standard TIP more likely to collapse if I get a Jetex Filter?

Got a TIP sorted just need to pick it up, but going to replace my BMC filter for the jetex. What size is best for sound as I'm temped to go for the ER-07006 to fill the gap.

Rear spacers are better than a TIP or Filter. No point in going faster if you loose the back end when you try to go around a corner with any pace.

agree.

but cant beat a good filter to aid the sound and effectivness of it

I'd agree with pj, i had a very scary moment in my old ibiza before i put my spacers on. tbh yes i was going fast but did not expect the back to be as loose as it was. Love the sound of my TIP though, lol.

Spacers make a world of difference. The rear wheels have a narrower track than the fronts and the spacers make them the same. Makes the rear much more planted and stable. Thats why its really the first thing you should do before getting anything to make you go faster or that sounds nice.
