Had a K1 on demo yesterday

I was lucky enough to get a K1 on demo yesterday and oh my god I want one, it was in white with the black alloys so looked the dogs!

Unfortunatley the weather was against me but on the open motorway and duel carriage ways all I can say is awesome. I was also impressed with the ride quality over the FR!

Only downside was that a full tank was showing a range of 230 miles........but what a car!

If I were you I'd buy a different colour of K1, there are loads of the white ones going about just in aberdeen so would imagine there are hundreds in Britian. Buy a different colour and it will be worth more money later as it'll be more unique

If it had to be a K1, I would probably go black with black wheels, but I would probably swap out the Aero bumpers for OEM Cupra bumpers

By the way 230 miles is probably worst case scenario for a tank of petrol. I would expect 260 miles from varied driving.

as Horace says , sounds like it has had a pasting if showing low 200's ,

my cupra normally shows 310 miles when i fill it up , thats after sensible town driving and a few dual carrigeways.

Dont let it put u off m8.

or test drive an ST and watch the needle drop

how many white ones are there in aberdeen? there is my one and i think 2 others i have seen. i personally dont see many going about

I've never seen a white K1 (or Cupra). Seen one white FR. Don't think they are that common really, just a lot of people on here have them.

Anyway, blue is obviously the best colour

I dont see any other white K1's where I live, have seen a white FR but it was bog standard with 17's

I've been a few white K1s and FRs about (excluding the SEAT organised track day where there were a few in the car park).

The Cupra and K1 are quite a rare breed compared to other hot hatches.

I agree, cupras/k1's are v.rare compared to other hot hatches, well, especially in the south wales area. Had my K1 since june 08 (silver with black alloys) and you obviously keep an eye out for others. Despite this I have never seen another K1, only ever seen one cupra and one FR in 8 months.

yep see hundreds of st's vxr's and gti's around here!! cupra and k1's are a rareity

I live near Crewe in Cheshire and it seems to be the epicentre (Leon city) because of all the people who work at Bentley and get a low-cost leaseplan.
There are 5 Cupras I recognise, 2 black, 2 White and a red one I see regularly...Fr's are everywhere !

Never seen this many anywhere else in the country and I travel a lot.

There have been more white K1's with black wheels sold out of Aberdeen than any other configuration of Cupra. There are about 6 of them belonging to people on here.

The K1 is rare compared with VXR's and ST's, but the Cupra is rare compared to the K1

there are 3 cupra's (Including mine) down my street, Crewe is full of them. usually seen one most days.. Believe all from bently..

I have seen one other Candy K1 in 7 months of ownership, the owner lives 5 miles away..
Met him on this forum!

They are as rare as hen's teeth..
