LCR splitter fitted

Here it is folks... Spent an hour or two fitting the splitter this afternoon. Had to chop the middle Vs down a bit and trim some off the ends but I think it looks good. Bit of guess work getting it equal both sides too! :)

Will it fit?

Should I sell it?

Bit of a dilemma folks... I test drove a Fabia Vrs this AM and I was impressed to be honest! The vast improved MPG I would get is a big factor also! This is the Fabia LINK.

Should I sell the FR and how much cash should I ask for a private sale? (Dealer said £4k-ish trade in )

What are your thoughts folks?

i think in the current climate petrols cars are hard to sell. i personally love the diesels and they save you so much money long term. the fabia looks nice and clean a little high millage for a 06. are the dealer willing to drop the price any more?

Only by £100 or so he said! I'm just concerned about how much I will get for mine (or how little as the case may be!)

As already mentioned mate, its very hard to sell a turbo petrol cat ATM. I would hang fire for now unless the sales man can come up with a better offer for your's..

I guess your right! I have worked out I could save £700 a year on fuel and tax. More with cheaper insurance probably. I was thinking if he could close the gap to £1k then it would be worth it!

I personally much prefer the look of the facelift FR to the vRS (are you considering facelift FR TDIs?). They just look a lot more sporty and make the vRS look a bit bland.

Plus you can swap over some of the mods that you've done to your current FR. But as Damo said, i'd wait a few months to see if the car market picks up.

I do like facelift Ibizas! Maybe your right, I should wait for a bit. It is tempting though!
