Hopefully not too slim. As it is a fairly new turbo and as you can see by the pics, in good nick.

is there no way you can fit that turbo and map it to suit? you could e close to your 230bhp goal a lot cheaper than thought!

I think it's a different layout mate.....

Funny when i looked at the "blades" in the turbo I thought it was a funny pattern, just to K04 is it? Two close, then gap, then two close again.

Obviously was the wrong one......back to EBAY it is!

cant that unit be given to turbo dynamics modified/hybrided and made to suit ?

I dunno.....don't think it'll fit the 1.9 block with it being a 2.0 turbo. Really not sure.

Do the 2.0l TDI's not use the same hyrbid setup though? So surely they must be a similar layout. From what i undestood it was the same block, just bored out with a different head?

The 170 turbo is very different regarding the plumbing

Ok no probs! There is one in the for sale section on here but it's cover 80/90,000 and I'd prefer not to have one with that higher mileage on it.....

I guess I was too trusting. Especially when he said he was an hour late because he was removing it from the car! You'd certainly have believed it if you were there.

But yeh it is my fault, but I also expect people to produce what they say they're selling. If you went into a dealer and said "I want a Mk5 Ibiza" you'd be slightly miffed if they came out with a Skoda Felicia. It's the same situation, just on a different level.

I think devonutopia has a V6 turbo on his yes....

I dunno - I've emailed Turbo Dynamics just to ask and I'm hoping for a reply from Will tomorrow. I've also got my eyes on a couple of turbos atm.

Just doing my research..... I know it's hard to see from these pictures but you can see the layout of the two turbos are different. And the manifolds are different.

Yep! I've currently got a convertable Ibiza, no roof. Bit of a ba5tard in weather like this but hey.....we get by.
