My Cupra red calipers paint is fading , never looks right even after a wash.

Are they supposed to be shiny like the Brembo ones?

On close inspection cant see any laqcuer , any 1 claimed under warranty or are they like that?

i think thats the look they are mate.. mine are always pink! Unless you get the wheel off and actually wipe it with a cloth rather than using a jet wash... i think you should get yuors done yellow :)

Lol ! You are right about the lack of lacquer on the disk flanges, it's a disgrace really, the rusty wheel hubs look terrible.

Try the Hammer rite normal paint been on mine for 2yrs and is OK and "heat paint" for exhaust for disc hub, you can get it in lots of colours too. You will not have any luck re the warranty route - many have tried........................!!!

I managed to get mine done under warranty.

But as I said earlier I did kick up a stink at the very start, - they were showing signs of rust brand new and I threatened not to pay the balance and take the vehicle.

The dealer promised to fix it but hadn't when I went back for collection so I blew a fuse and I rang SEAT customer care.

As the dealer isn't local to me they agreed my local dealer would fix it.

My view is simple, if the car has any signs of hub rust brand new, - reject vehicle. :banned:
