225 k04 replacement manifold

does anyone do a high flow one thats a straight replacement requiring no other mods?

summat like this but this says for 180 bhp not 225 but then says k04 fitment so im a little confused ???,it looks right for a 225 engine though imo ...anyone know please??

Looking at the link, its probably ment for a K04-001 (similar to the K03) Not the K04-023 (found on lcr + S3). I didn’t know Tig Art sold on ebay!

Isn’t that who jbs use for there tubular manifolds?

To answer the first question jbs are developing a cast hi-flow manifold for K04-023 fitment now (I think).

Yep, AFAIK, only JBS do one, and that's not out yet (cast one). They might still do the tubular manifold that Tig-Art did for them, I don't know.

Thats an american company si the manifold will be for LHD cars.

I'm pretty sure the 225 manifold is the same on both LHD and RHD. It certainly looks the same as the 225 manifold sitting on my desk. Anyway, with the £ vs $ it's hardly worth bothering with now.

Thanks JBS, so do you estimate a month, or 2 ,or is there just no way of knowing.

I just got this reply from the e mail i sent out about the american k04-23 manifold from a dealer in the uk....

"How strange! We didn't know we were on their list of Dealers. We did buy
one of these manifolds from them before for a project we were doing but
it didn't fit!

The support bracket touched the head, and the runners touched the cam
cover, hence it didn't fit. They ended up refunding us. They told me
that they were going to fix the fitment issues and produce one that
fitted. We didn't get another one because I felt that the sizing of
runners was no better than the standard cast manifold. Infact it was
actually smaller and they said that they would not make it any bigger.

Sorry I can be of no more help, I have never seen an uprated manifold
for the K04-023 that actually fits. If you do find one on your travels
please let me know as I would be interested as I spent many hours (over
a year ago now) looking for one.

so thats that then i cant believe no ones yet doing one,surely a simple tubular one could be made quite easily,alright it might not be cad designed but it would still give 95% of the benefits.
