BMC induction kit

Got one of these but i am having trouble getting this fitted!

Has anyone else got one of these fitted? If so how did you do it?

I think i may need a 45 degrees bend?

My one lol. Do you know what size the 45 degrees bend is? I measured it but couldn't find a pipe that size? (diameter)

mate let me have a look in my cuboard i may still have the silicon hose it has a packing strip in it so it fits the maf side !!

Just has a section of silicone piping to join it to the maf

I have a simota which is practically identical to the BMC, and cut down a 45 degree hose

That does look damn neat! Where and how is it secured tho?

just cut the strip of metal that has holes in it tht you get with it then attached to the header tank securing place you can sort of see it!! plus the pipe that went down the wing secured it aswell!!

think i might make mine the same now. looks horrid where i have it even worse as it's starting to rust!

Got it from the below link. However I ordered the black one for 48.00 and they sent me the carbon one which is actually 88.00. I didn't complain

does it take away form the dump valve or spool noise at all?

It is the diameter of the 45 degrees bend i am looking for! I measured the two ends but couldn't find a pipe to fit :/

I have a silly cheap chrome thing on just now that came with the car and i really want it off lol

i have the silicone pipe thats in the pic and ive found the silicone packing pm me if you want it and we can arrange a price!!!!

i never really liked the engine cover until i see this and it just changed my mind how did you get it like that is it just a respray i want it.

yeah just took it down my local sprayers its silver now instead of blue same colour as the car!! plus its rearly easy to clean due to the lacker, and another plus it keeps the bay looking like this!!!
