coilover help

hey, i am thinking of buying a set of coilovers as its not low enough with just the lowering springs, just wondering what to do with the drop links? do they need to be shortened/ lengthened according to how low you go? also what purpose do the drop links serve?

The drop links basically move the ARB away from the driveshaft and stop it rubbing. You need shorter ones like these...

imo i wouldnt run shortened droplings with coilovers.

a few i have seen first hand have bent though some have not.

i was dropped about 145mm on modified coilovers and still ran the standard droplinks with no problems whatsoever.

its only now i need custom made droplinks to match the custom struts for my car.

You need to drill the hole slightly larger for them if i remeber right though

Not on a Fabia VRS, but maybe that's because the anti roll bar is a touch thicker.
