Hi there!

LCR 210 AMK

I'm about to get out of my mind at the moment!

I experience this fault code every freakin morning:

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 35-00 - -

If I dont reset the fault, it will be followed up with this:

17545 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich
P1137 - 35-00 - -

First I thought it was due to some leaking, cause I had my clutch changed just before the error came, but now we did a pressure test at 2,5-3.0 bar from the iron pipe(just before the left intercooler) and to the point just before the air enteres the manifold.
There were no whissels or anything, the pressure dropped sloooowly, but not anything "scary".

Of cause i need to do some more searching from leaking, but..

I was also told from a guy in there (P-torque) or something, that i could be a bad remap!
The thing is my remapper says it's a leak and it's not his map there i faulty.

The deal is, I've replaced the DV to a forge 007 and the MAF, and i really dont want to go to a mechanic and say "I have this problem, could you fix i" If the fault i at the remap, cause then I will be spended LOTS of money, cause they'll never find the fault!

What the hell can i do? I was wondering in getting the old map back and see if that solves my problems!

I know i'm missing that part from the turbo outlet, but it sucks to get in there, might just remove the iron charge pipe to access it easier, get it off and inspect it.

Is a danish remapper called e n t e c h, so i dont think it helps you much (
The cat is the original, the mods are BMC SP-12, forge 007 DV, the car is at 76.000km

has it done it ever since it was mapped? i had the same fault for a time but it seemed to go by itself..it didnt create any other codes. or affect the cars running.

If it's any help I had the same code but the car seem to run fine. I had a boost leak though from my map sensor pipe. Fans had cut into it. I doubt your issue will be the same location but could be a leak all the same.
You need to find a garage with a smoke machine to test the turbo system for leaks. I'd rule that out first before checking the map.

Just to clear it out, at the moment my pressure test was from point 1. to point 2. The only piont i miss is the silicone join at 3.

P-torque.co.uk:

If I make a log of block 115 with vagcom in 3.th or 4.th gear, could you then tell my if the requested/actual boost is OK?

You seem pretty confident in your stuff )

You will get boost but limited to 5psi until you restart the engine.

N75 is worth a go, see if someone local to you and do a swap to test - or see if anyone has a spare to test with.

SEAT took ages to fix my problem, well in fact they didnt fix it I got fed up with visiting them and looked into it myself and eventually fixed it myself. Errors being logged gave no clues - they tries everything - even taking bits like the thottle body of a showroom car to try
