Make sure you warm up the engine (oil) properly before driving enthusiastically. Take it easy for the first 10-15mins. And when your journey is at an end...cruise gently the last few miles. And idle for at least 30sec after an aggressive drive to prolong the life of your turbo.

Forum tip: Always use the search first before posting about something in particular...chances are it's been covered a dozen times.

Enjoy the forum and your car :)

As regards to the dogbone... I've read that it takes away or reduces 'wheel hop' sorry for sounding stupid but what exactly is that? If its heavy juddering when not having enough traction from setting off standing I would have assumed thats just where the traction control was kicking in?

when you put your foot down the engine tries to twist against the wheels, with all that power/twist the wheels can hop on the road loosing traction.

uprated mounts reduce the twist allowing smoother power transition, they kinda hold the engine in place better. the smoother the power comes in the more traction should be available.

it makes a big difference on a mapped car

the dogbone does not reduce wheel twist,,,
but i know what you are getting at.
the dog bone mount is an engine mount, which if you uprate reduces engine movement and can help with transfer of power to the wheels by reducing bounce.

IMO induction kits are not worthwhile as dont tend to lead to any performance advantage over a simple panel filter replacement, however induction kits are louder,
