its definitely spiking, and I would actually prefer to use the apexi just at 1.8 bar

Its about 2.1 BAR mate. It was exactly like that when i had it, and always spiked the same when booted from low rpms.

Im going to get mine plugged back in and up the boost, these boost spikes are a bit annoying, but Im loving the higher power, 1.8bar safe to run consistantly?

turbo will be on its upper edge i suspect, although its pretty willing to run there.. the octy is running that sort of level

I'd imagine 1.8 bar spike and holding about 1.6bar would be ideal on a gt2871

i would get the apexi pluged back in sooner rather than later. That is a lot of boost and somthing will give.
I'm sure if set right you'll get a better dilivery of power and maybe longer with out the added danger with the apexi.
