where can i buy a door switch surround

on the door cards, he bit around the switches that all the paint chips off, can i just buy these? or is it a whole door card jobby?

well i just described the bit to them or take the part off and then take it into them and say thats what you want thats all i did

nope you only need to take the plastic bit off thats around the interior door handle and that pops off with a plat bladed screw driver but becarful they break esaily and then you can just op thta off and disconnect the wires from the switch and reomve the central locking and that should be it
i have one to change that i have sprayed up need to do that soon

I've been wanting to do this ever since I bought the car!!
What is with the soft paint they use on these bits of trim?

The **** is so soft it scrapes off with a fingernail, didn't they test it?

Is it easy to get the whole lot off with no traces that'll feck up any new paint?
Anyone got pictures?

That was my first thought as its so easy to scrape off. You've gotta get it all off anyway, but if you're not going to repaint then it has to be taken off without abrasives.
