Eldest by far for now, 49, bought it new 7 years ago. Also got a Mk2 16V bought new 9 years ago. Both weekend cars. Daily drive, an Arosa Tdi. All 3 great cars for different reasons.

think im getting to old to drive a yellow sports car, may change to something more civilised...elise, vx220, caterham:D

haha yep, paid 4k end of sept, spent 2.5k and selling for 3k so i'm losing more than i'm selling it for. [:@]

next option is to burn it!!!

Im suprised how people get there cupra so young and so cheap insurance,
got mine when i was 19...now 22 and my insurance has gone up to 750 pound with mods,

Think this thread has morphed into how much is your insurance quote ;) Good to know the range of quotes we're all getting though, age, location, points and mods etc

25, had two cupras 1st was a 51 plate onvi yellow,now arctic grey 02 cupra had both of them over the space of about 3 yrs

jus turned 19 when i bought my first cupra wrote it off last year when i was 23 now own another cupra an have the other as a spare. i had soo many parts i could not buy a different car or would of lost all the money i spent on the old car
