If your car already comes with aero blades, can you not just replace the rubber strip? I havent looked into dismantling the wiper, so am not sure yet if this is possible.

Can anyone shed some light? If so, a tesco (or a branded rubber blade strip retrofit) would be alot cheaper than the whole aero blade unit itself.

I use the Tesco ones £4 each, work fine. 21" and a 19".

If you want really good ones, look for Bosch Aero Twins.

i have the 13" retrofit version for my rear as i've decided not to go for a polo style wiper, £7 IIRC on ebay. the mounting part is a little big and higher up than compared to the Bosch equivalent but the quality looks ok, time will tell if they last as long. only problem is mine seems to miss a patch right on the middle of my screen, annoying! i think i might try and bend the wiper straighter, or just leave it to settle down.

Just got mine this morning from aceparts, just got in from fitting them, im not that impressed.
The clip that attaches them to tje existing arm is flimsy and doesn't want to stay in, keeps popping out. The passenger side wiper is too big, everytime it comes back down it hits the bodywork, i was thinking of chopping a cm off the whole unit but thats easier said than done!

i got VW retrofit aero kit and once swapped over the passenger side hit my wing - just adjust the resting position of the arm to a bit higher up the screen. obviously not halfway up the screen or anything, just enough for it not to hit the body when it comes back.

and my passenger one also missed a strip - i just flexed the blade about til it was better. Cant fault them now. they maybe dont wipe quite all of the window, but they do it a hell of a lot better than my standards.

same can be said for the polo rear wiper. - the jet sprays all over the itself for a second or too before blasting the glass properly, but wipes 10x better than the standard beeza wiper.
