I have H&R -35mm springs. The rear is higher than front but thats not a new thing. What comes to the ride, I personnally think its more comfortable than the original FR setup. Although if you have any spare cash, you should go for coilovers, like Eibach or KW.

I'm thinking of the spring route too! Do you have any pics? Is it noticeably lower or just subtle?

yes but you dont want the front higher than the rear....

yeah thats why im doing it, mu 1.2 sits higher at the back so hopefully 30mm at the back and 40mm at the front should even it up, been lookings for abit now cant find any adjustable shock/spring for the ibiza any one know of any?

So the back is higher than the front, yet your going to lower the front 40mm and back only 30mm? its going to look like a hot rod?

Alot of very useful info has already been posted into this Thread...
I've got Eibach springs on mine. Yes, it is noticably lower than a standard Mk4 suspension setup.

However the car will still sit higher at the rear, with a larger gap between rear wheels and the arch.

The only way to lower the car uniformly, front to back, is with a Coilover kit.
If you are going lower, best do it just once with a decent set of coilovers, instead of fitting springs then still wanting it lower in the future!

thinking about dropping my 1.2 ibiza mk4 35-40mm would the rear and the front drops need to be different would it effect the stance? and would you recon springs or springs and shocks?

cheers for that, how firm is the ride with these fitted? it says that the highest you can have them over standard is 35mm, do you think i will have problems with my 18's if its lowered 35mm?

As coilovers go they're not too stiff and you'll be fine with a 35mm drop and can say that I'm pretty sure you'd end up going a fair bit lower! :D
