R32 23mm front ARB. This is supposed to give the LCR/Skoda Octavia the best feel and balance (coupled with the 28mm Neuspeed rear ARB I have fitted already.). Tis is cheaper than the aftermarket ones but does the same job.

Wouldn't a thicker rear than front ARB promote lift-off oversteer? That's why Eibach do 25mm front and rear, for neutral handling. Just wondering like?
I have a 28mm rear ARB. They don't do a 28mm front and even if they did I think it would be too stiff for the front but for the back its ace.
TBH I'm more worried about the front being too stiff and tramlining.
But there are alot of guys with the same set up as me with 25mm front ARB and they say its great.
I will find out soon enough. I've never been one to take everyone elses opinions as my own I say it how it is. Lift off oversteer is okay as long as you know you have it.
Thats why I've never really had alot or praise for the EBC Ultimax and DS2500 pads set up. Hopefully the 2 piece will be better though.

Tell me about it, i haven't been able to get into the garage for the past two months because my brother has been refurbing his Polo GTI. as on mine, 25mm front, 28mm rear which makes it oversteer sometimes when cornering hard

even thinner front will make it worse! Wouldn't be fun if the back steps out on a greasy road and you hit another car.

Na Rob, don't think your correct here TBH.
I have the 19mm OEM ARB on just now and its not that tail happy just now.
Your saying it should be more tail happy just now than with the thicker ARB. If thats the case my set up will get more neutral with the thicker ARB which I had thought and why I'm doing it
Yep, I am 100% correct, you make the back of ANY car stiffer than the front and you unbalance it. Front and rear ARB's should be the same thickness for neutral handling, I was referring to a 23mm bar vs the 19mm bar, the 19mm bar being worse obviously. Once you have your car on a track you'll know!
