LED sidelights fitted...too blue for my liking!

Hi peeps...

I've just fitted some of the 9 LED sidelights from www.ultraleds.com but they are a bit on the blue side for my liking.

Has anyone got any other recommendations for white LED sidelights that are actually white, with a hint of blue?? I want something that will look nicely matched next to my 6000k HIDs (which I'm not allowed until Christmas day - I feel 9 years old again!).

And please don't respond with "try a search" as I have been looking into this for ages and went with the 9 LED ones as they seemed to be most popular.

These are the fellas, by the way: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/501194t10-mini-light-tower-leds-xenon-white-p-1545.html

Cheers!

any pics of them on the car?

Haven't taken any yet but can do over the weekend if you like? Although pictures of headlights always seem to be a bit hit and miss!!

Perhaps they will look better when they are next to the HIDs, but they look pretty ridiculous next to my yellowish halogens, and when on sidelights only they look a bit, ummm...chavtastic. Nice and bright though.

Wait until you've fitted your HID's mate. I'm sure the blueness wont be as noticable next to the 6000k's
The ultraleds are normally a pretty good match.

OK cheers everyone, I'll wait until the HIDs are in before I give my final verdict. I'll nip out after Christmas dinner and fit them whilst the Queen's speech is on, if I'm not too drunk and bloated by then.

Surrey darling...
yeah was going to say it'd be worth waiting for the HID's... I doubt they will look blue at all next to 6000k HID's!

Think I've actually changed my opinion on them now, parked up at the petrol station during the daylight hours with them on and they actually look fine, it's just at night when they are on by themselves they look noticeably blue. Can't wait for the HIDs to go in now!!

if you get no joy with them, i got some prism white led sidelight bulbs from halfords, they are quite white but do have a tinge of blue, a copper thought they were blue till he had a second look and let me on my way

Just resurrecting a very old post of mine! My car failed it's MOT today due to these bulbs (although it passed elsewhere with them in last time!?). Sounds like plenty of other people have been ok but might be worth taking them out for MOT time in future. Strangely they didn't mention my HIDs!!

lol and he never failed the hids?
What k are the hids?
Click my sig to see my sidelights, match my 6k fine.

Weird eh!? HIDs are 6000k jobbies. It failed on "sidelights too blue, rear indicators too white". Unless the tester is colour blind?
