Hey!

Well iv searched about but still cant find anything to clarify my clutch issues. Basically the clutch pedal snapped around 6 months ago so i welded it all back up and bought new neccessary parts for it..job done!!..not quite...
Anyway all was fine for a month or so but then started to notice there was alot of play in the top of the pedal. Biting point is very close to the floor but im aware this can be altered by adjusting the plunger so that doesnt concern me.
When im driving now and i press the clutch the first inch or so has a massive amount of play in it before it stiffens up the further down the pedal i go. Anyone got any ideas? Was thinking about getting a whole new pedalbox etc from the stealers but as always have a feeling their going to rip me rite off![:@]

Any help would be greatly apprechiated!

David! :D

i'm no help at all.. but whats this plunger your talking about ?? wanting to alter my biting point very slightly as its quite low as well

the plungers the white stick shaped thing (<-- great description haha!) one end gets screwed in but depending how far in it is determines how high up/low down ur biting point is! best thing to do cus would be for me to show u wen u come round for the jack..sound like a plan matey?

have a go at screwing the plunger all the way down, you might have it a long way out of adjustment!(Cus, its the black switch / box that sits at the top of the pedal arm (the pedal sort of rests on it!!) take the lower scuttle panel off to get easy access!)
when the bite point is almost to the floor i believe this is some sort of default setting that it reverts to! when the pedal snaps it can damage the switch! it ripped mine clean out lol!!!!!

yeah! if you unscrew the lower scuttle panel, (covering the fuse box aswell!) follow the pedal up under the dash and at the top there is a point where the top of the pedal arm touches a plunger! u cant miss it!
