The rear washer on my mk1 Leon Cupra obviously has a loose pipe at it no longer works, and the water runs out from a drain hole below the car.

Does anyone have a diagram / drawing of the mounting points for the plastic cover on the inside of the bootlid?

I am having a similar problem. I can see the washer fluid leaking out under my passenger side foglight leaving little blue icicles. I have done a search but have not found anything useful. Can anyone help?
I am sure it must be a split hose to the rear washer as the front washers and headlamp squirters still work fine. Any ideas where i can find the hose? I have had a look for it but tbh i don't really know my way around the car. Cheers

You may not need to take off that cover. In my car, on the passengers side of the boot, behind the material trim, the pipe has a little elbow joint which clips together. Mine was only partially in which caused it leak to leak into the panel.

The symptoms were a lot of condensation in the entire car and when opening the boot, a strong smell of washer fluid.

Please don't glue it back together either , if the join has come loose it's because you tried to use the screen wash when the pipe was frozen. Keep plenty of antifreeze in and it won't happen.

Is it wet down the side boot trim or is it just coming out of the tailgate area?

I found mine to be the pipe which connects directly to the washer motor on the boot lid, pushed back in place until it clipped in and its been fine.

some may say lala land....
ok, slightly off topic but rear washer related all the same.

When my tank was running low, so i could install hids, i noticed that when used the front washer it would also squirt a small amount out of the rear - any thoughts as not sure why it would happen unless it was extra pressure used to push out as tank low?
