Ok you win! Best not to get to bothered with lap times around there just enjoy the drive.
If you time your self and keep trying to improve it you WILL crash sooner rather than later and it might not be your fault.

Yup, hense why I didnt time myself, but later found out my time for a nice cruise round!

Have you got any more performance stats for yours? How much weight have you taken out?

Hi ! some weight stats 1) Loose the 65kg lump sat in passenger seat.
2) rear seats loose em 30kg
3) spare wheel 20kg
4) tool kit 5kg
5) steering swop for omp corisca save about 5kg
6)driver seat 30kg std now about 10kg saving 20kg
7) owners manuel and engine cover and any other bits of crap.
wanted to remove air con but it's not easy awsome gti had a look at that one. Any one done it? ARB, Strut brace add abit of weight.
Want to keep mine friendly for road use so all sound proofing still in place and radio ( this is important when doing the 600 mile drive (in one go of course. Have done it on a single tank of fuel JUST!) to the ring. I know you all know about the little black lever in fuel filler neck that allows extra fuel in the tank so wont mention it.

Another pic of my car if anyone interested. Must say the seat does give a improvement to the drive as your sitting a lot lower which it needed as the std one far to high. It also holds you in place much better, ways about 20kgs less than std and you really can feel the grip levels through the seat of your pants!

Yes 220 would be good but i know it can do 152mph (on my sat nav) on the autobahn so im not hung up on power output:) What counts is how it go's in the real world. My mate has a 230 bhp golf mk5 and is no faster than my car.:)

Works great no mods needed just get a mechanic to fit as you need ramps to access under the car to fit it. Gives better gear change as it's about 25% less travel between gears. You can get easily!:)
