On my way lol

Just been getting bored of the leon tbh its to quiet and refined and feel the need to do a bit of modding to it to lift ma spirits up with it.

Done the airbox mod today and its very worthwhile so gonna give the bypass thing a go.

So has anyone got any pics of how this is done???

i fancy this mod but since i run an mbc for boost control I'm concerned that i will have removed the only means available for the ECU to thorw my car into limp for basic protection.
i.e. 1. drop duty cycle to 5% via n75 valve.
2. vent excess boost to DV via n249 valve.

will i have any protection left or am i left on hoping ecu will reduce injection period etc.

took all mine off. under the inlet there is 2 nipples coming out of inlet..

1 to fpr and 1 to the n249.

i had new vac piping anyway so simply just through the lot away ran a pipe from inlet straight to dv.
there is a fault present but ive not got around to putting a resistor in the n249 wire.

i noticed straight away the dv response was alot quicker but other than that not much difference

no need to resistor to stop fault code, just leave the n249 plugged in. no fault on mine for months. if you have a fault its from something else then.
