will have another go..maybe my fen fingers are too weak :)

yea i saw the bulb fitment thread but just wanted to make sure it was a festoon....heaven forbid going outside and checking :)

Don't pull by the wires!! My wire just came out in my hand. Is a b**** to put back in as well!

I managed to get the driver side out without too much bother. It's the passenger side which is the worst! I had to move my battery back a bit to get it out, even better if you can be bothered is to take it out.

The reason they don't like to come out is that they have 2 stupid clips that you are meant to push in when pulling them out, but designed that it's very hard to say the least to do!
So when you get them out bend the clips in a bit so next time it's not so hard..!

Some come straight out, but ive had some take me ages. You should do the sidelight bulbs on a mk5 polo gti. Now thats a chore!

I tried and tried to change the sidelights one morning. Couldn't get them out properly and ended up with two not working instead of one!
Was in for a service the next day and asked them to do it - took 40 damn minutes as i think I damaged the wire on passanger dise with my pulling! Hope these bulbs last a good while!
