To secure it i drilled a small hole in the end of the filter. I then used a long threaded screw/bolt, 2 washers, a nut and 2 rubber door stops which where joined together and trimmed down to fit the securing hole. All bought from b&q.
It’s with a J buddy, Jabba! Lol Did you ask for a price for the full kit? You need to add the price of a cone, 90mm coupler and 90mm – 80mm silicone reducer (if you want it to fit snugly in the heat shield) then make something up on the end of the cone to attach it to the car. It might be worth getting the whole kit if they will do it for you for a good price!
aready have a jetex cone and relevant attachments...so only wanted a heatshield..very imressed with the jetex so far but need to secure the cone better..the heatshield would also help
I think it’s about as loud as your going to get! To be honest I doubt it did as there very lightly oiled. How was it supported? Probably more to do with vibration or just a coincidence! There’s loads of people on here running Jetex cones with no related problems!

It may well have been a coincidence or just down to it being a French car. But i have to say it was very reliable up until then... The Jetex filter i was supplied with was quite heavily oiled IMO so it could have been a one off that i just ended up with, thats the kinda luck i have.
Anyways as for the Jabbasport one being as loud as your going to get, i think I'll give it a miss on that basis. Think I'll stick with my BMC-CDA but thanks for the info

Let’s not forget that the only induction noise you get is the satisfying sound of the turbo spooling up and the diverter valve gently blowing air back through the turbo via the tip!
