Tinted windows

rite at exactly midnight i got pulled up and i have had 30 pound fine for my front windows being tinted so i just thought i would post about the rules of this for people who are thinking of having it done

on the back you can have done whatever you like (apprantly)
on the front you can have up to 75% of light showing through any lower than that and its a fine and then if they are below 25% then its 3 points

I had limo on back and 50% on front of my black ibiza. Never once got done for em

O and just so you know, standard windows dont let in 100% of light, so 25% tints will push it too far. IIRC most windows are about 80% anyway

yeah i had dark smoke on my old corsa an my car was parked out side my work an they came in an told me i had ten days to take the tint off other wise i would get fined by vosa who do the mot's . but yeah you can have limo black on the rear 3 windows but not aloud any thing on front really also cupra windows have a tint from the factory very light though..

does any one know the best way to remove proper tints? as i think id better take theese off

heat up and peel away slowly.

then use Glue & Tar remover for any remainnig residue

not worth the hassle these days. Can't be bothered to tint windows on this one. Plus I think it looks wrong. Should only be done on Black cars and maybe Red IMO (Limo tint i mean)

May get away wi a light smoke on mine, but i'm not gonna

wel mine arent exactly dark on either of the windows lol
