i used the mounting bolts for the rear seat belts. you may need to use a file or similar to remove the paint in the area first.

I used a bolt behind the back panel, just by taking off the light panels first... it doesn't matter really where you bolt it so long as you've got a clean connection with no paint obstruction and its to a structural metal panel if possible. :)

Take your pollen filter and glovebox out and you will see a large grommet - feed the cable through here. the glovebox is only around 8 torx bolts, and the pollen filter is 2 screws. If you disconnect the airbag switch when removing your glovebox, do not turn on your ignition before you plug it back in as it will put the airbag light on on your dash. good luck :)

i didnt feed mine through there.... didnt want to mess with all that tbh..... i fed the cable through a gap in the wing and it came out by the passenger door....then fed it through into the car behind the hinge andit comes out directly in the passenger footwell under the glovebox... then fed it through to the boot...... you cant really see te cable by the door hinge unless your looking for it to be honest....

Sorry Danny but no, if you fiddle with you pollen filter too much you get the wet feet effect!!
See here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/show...ht=install+amp
Pic in 18th post, much much neater and easier to do!!!
But your dead right about airbag switch!!!!

that link isn't working? i used bathroom sealant around the grommet after feeding wires through it. I've had wet feet before due to not fitted the pollen filter cover properly after meddling, lesson learnt, but i'd be interested to know of another grommet to use.
