does make me laugh though how their site says that they check all kits before they are shipped out....well they clearly dont otherwise i wouldnt be in this problem!!

:ban:

chris - how have you mounted the ballast boxes? i see where you have mounted them, but how have you mounted them as they HIDs dont appear to come with brackets???

will take some photos and put up as and when i can

That's great news, glad you have got it sorted out, although how have you fixed the ballasts??? You should have got 4 double sided sticky pads with the kit, 1 for each starter and ballast, so it makes it really easy to fit, if you didn't get these with your kit, then I would ring them asap and get them to send them out to you:D

Nice set of disc's you have there mate and your HID's are looking great:D
They are so good to drive with hey, are you pleased with the results, the best mod i've done so far:D
Only thing is that they make your main beam look very very yellow dont they, i thought about making my main beam HID, but I hardly ever use it anyway, so there isn't much point really!!

Fitted my new brakes last weekend, cleverly brought the wrong sized front pads  so had to order new pads from EBC, these turned up just before xmas and havent got round to fitting them yet

Excuse the state of the wheels...they have since been cleaned

Have also fitted the EBC plain rear discs and yellow stuff pads. Took us a while to work out how to remove the rear calipers...didnt appreciate they where 2 part calipers AND Seat had Loctite'd the bolts on which made life fun!! [:@] Also had to spend £25 on a tool to push back the rear piston as they werent just a push back jobbie....had to be twisted and pushed at the same time!!

I was thinking about these for mine when the time comes but since heard that Tarox discs are better with Ferrodo pads. You'll have to let me know how they wear. Heard aftermarket discs can corrode quicker than OE ones...

Have heard good things about Tarox aswell, did consider them but where a lot more expensive than the EBC stuff. Will let you know how i get on with them, but in regards to wear n tear, my standard 312mm discs lasted TWO sets of Seat pads!! Will have to try and get some photos up of what my discs look like...they are fooked!!
