Need to no how to change the two front grills next to the seat badge. I got as far as lifting the bonnet and taking out the four screws which are above the grills and the badge but this didnt seem to help much as a whole piece came loose with the grills atached.Does any one no how to go from here?

as far as i was aware of the grills were plastic welded to the bumper and required cutting out cause i was going to do something with mine, but was told it was an absolute head ache to get out and then the replacements have to be glued back

i may be wrong but its what i got told

the way to get them out is to break them out

they are plastic welded in so you need to break the clips off from behind

if they didnt come as standard on your model then likelyhood is there not plastic welded and just give them a bloody good tug lol

yes i tried taking mine off when fitting my new bumper to get to the two big screws, and they melt the clips to hold them in place managed to remove one only but this was with the bumper back on the car prob easier off the car! I changed my top ones form the standard ones and carefully cut the melted plastic one then thought why am I bothering and just broke the clips off the other one!

what i did was undo all of the top screws that are under bonnet and then the long black piece of plastic above the middle grill ,pull it forward, its fairly flexible and it wont snap.so now ur basically pulling the top of the grill and bumper away from engine bay.this allows a gap then.

i then got a long screwdriver and located the clips and just hit the screwdriver with a hammer and snapped all the clips
pulled out the 2 grilles

and pushed the FR ones in job done
