lots of options....firstly.. thought id tell you before someone else does.... try to avoid the text talk as people dont respond to it too well;) and you can find loads of info by using the search button... very useful!

For 2k you could probably go for a KO3s upgrade, with any luck you could see 230-250bhp depending on quality of mods and the map you get.

You'll need the turbo itself £150-250 depending on age and condition
Front mount intercooler(FMIC) anywhere between £100 for laguna one or £700 for a forge one,
Forge dump valve £70
Forge TIP £100
Turbo back exhaust £500 ish
Remap £500
4bar fuel pressure regulator £30-£40 i think

Should also consider coilovers and a break upgrade.

All this is prob about £2k

Hope this helps

Sure someone else can point out other options or if i said anything inaccurate

lol right away someone that didn't understand your thread because of your 'popular' text talk...

the title says 1 grand to spend...so not 2 grand...

that will limit your options.

You already have the exhaust, so with the 1K get a front mount IC, upgrade your air filter to a cone, do the N249 bypass, stick a good dumpvalve on it, a TIP and get it a good strong stage 1 remap. You'll see about 210bhp. Can be done for one grand

as said search will reveal all

For £1k I'd prob go for:

As you already have an exhaust, do you have a doen pipe or just cat back.
If not, down pipe and reca cat ~£350
Forge TIP ~£110-120
Forge 007P £85
Open cone filter £100
and a good stage 2 map £300

On a K03 that might get you 215bhp

I wasn't aware that that SCN where offering spelling lessons as well now?

IMO, id have a think to see what kind of power goal you are looking at, as you may save yourself a few quid if you just save the money that you have now and put it towards BT,hybrid etc... you would save on buying things twice - DP, mapping, TIPS etc..

Just my 2p as its the way i would have gone if i had known what i know now 2 years ago.

Dam text talk did catch me out.....why do people want to ruin the english language by using all this slang rubbish!!

Back on topic....a good cost effective break upgrade would be the brembo grooved disks and ferrodo ds2500 pads from bill badger 5...looking to get a set after xmas funds permitting!

haha no worries mate.

in short N249 valve restricts your DV that's why people bypass it.
but have a search as it will explain it better ;)

Technically it wasn't a "spelling lesson". Just a what word means what lesson :D

To Two & Too ;)

for £1k, as said, a good Map.

Go for some good handling mods. Best to be set up so you can stay on the road. Front & Rear poly bushes. Coilies, big brakes, ARB, Strut Braces

Doesn't always have to be about power ;)
