Hi Guys,
Well iv got my car... its time to start modding!
Iv already purchased the LCR splitter, which i hope to add this weekend.
I will be looking to remap after xmas, courtesy of P-Torque.
I am looking at getting an induction kit before then, can anyone recommend one for 2003 Leon Cupra 1.8t, and what are the gains from doing this?

Many thanks,

Anthony :funk:

Thats a bit of a cheek!![:@] LOL. Same front brakes as the S3 at 312 mm. Decent discs and pads should be more than enough. Never managed to overheat mine!

Order of mods

If you have money to spend on Exhaust, Induction and remap, i would get the exhaust checked and make sure that you have a sports cat and SS down pipe before you get the remap. I did it the other way round, and had to have the map adjusted to make the most of the down-pipe. You get more power released from a good down-pipe and cat than you do for the rear system.

Personally i would not bother with the induction kit until i had done ALL of the other mods as the gain per pound is relatively low.

I it helps, i had the full Piper system and down-pipe fitted then a custom map from P-Torque. Did manage 237BHP 27ft/lbs on a cold day. I did have Will turn down the overboost in the first and second gears, just as a matter of comfort and drivability. Still quite happily pulled 225BHP on a very hot and humid day.

I'm looking to do similar engine mods to mine, hopefully in Feb.
Which induction kit will give the better gains, Green cotton of KN?
