It's a feature..............in all seriousness a LOT of LCR's do this
try the cheapest solution first, a can of wd40 sprayed all over the rear suspension, let it work in.......it helped on my old LCR.
I only suggest that as tracing 'a squeak' may take a huge amount of time and money. I know it's annoying but I doubt it's anything major.
As your car is a '55 it must have just been MOT'd? Guess the bushes can't have been too bad condition wise.
they have modified rear top mounts.. im sure of it
yep mine does this too and mine is a 55 plate....only happens in the wet. dont think it is anything serious mate, just cheapo dampers im afraid...
Indeed - just MOT'd - no probs...I dont think its a problem its just really anoying.
I fully understand what you mean..........even embarassing at times
But I suggest start with cheap options then it's going to be trial and error to resolve it i'm afraid
Indeed.....designed in Germany, built in Spain...fixed SLOWLY AND AT GREAT EXPENSE in England.

dont understand why SEAT didnt make the suspension slightly better from the factory?..when they came out they were £18k..they could of sold it for £19k and fitted ARBS and better dampers im sure
Seat just got what ever was left in the VAG group parts box
got top mount part number of 1J0 513 353 D.. there only 15 quid each so could be worth the change..
like i say when i worked at seat garage we changed a few of them..
