I know what you mean, I had to do that all the time. But since I put the led's in Ive never had to do it since.

you know you have a mk2 when....
1. your 1.8 16v gti can get off the mark quicker than your dads a3 quattro S-line only the 2.0 tdi 175bhp but still good as yours cost like 30grand less
2.you have to constantly argue with yur mates who own silly japanese cars that is KIWI yellow and even the log book says yellow not green
3.argue some more with your silly rice burner mates that FWD is still good

it didnt mean it was better than RWD tbf but it isnt as terrible as they make it seem but also in and arround were we are its mostly jap cars which is s**t but see alot of EKs and EJs and DCs which are all FWD and they shift

....when you know how much its going to cost to fix to the nearest £5 when somthing goes wrong.
