I just want say how much I still love it!
Ashamedly, it's turned rather into a commuter car lately and I have not enjoyed it as much as I could, it has become part of the job essentially. She travels 10-12 miles per day and rarely sees revs over 2.5k.
So on Monday night, I stupidly decided to combine a student night with work the next day, no sleep at all.
After what was actually a fantasically good night despite the lack of alcohol, I had to drive home at 5am to shower & get into my suit. The roads were deserted, the sky was clear, the temps were ridiculously low and I had a chance to open her up a little on some twisty dual carriage ways on the way back. Wow, what can I say, I forgot how well she pulls. I love that feeling when your slightly sunk back in your seat knowing that you can either go up a gear and drive economically or you can unleash what feels like a world of grunt and pin yourself firmly to it. I had so much fun & if I am honest, I wasn't driving like a loon, 75mph at the most but it was the acceleration out of the corners that had me grinning from ear to ear.
I own a standard 210 model, maybe I just forgot what it was like, got a little too comfortable with owning it or maybe it was the colder temps allowing it to run better. Who knows, all I can say is that I am happy to have made the purchase those few months back.
Now I am inspired to get her REVO'd in the New Year for definite
