Had a quicjk ring round a few garages and can get the GSD3's fitted for £90 each or the assymetrics fitted for £103 each, sound good enough??

On a side note I looked at the makers of the tyres on at the mo. One at the back is a continental sport contact 2.... which is nearly dead, the other is a Talon Triangle, looked on Camsill and theyre £40 each... so im guessing theyre not too great, it always seems to go down to 14psi whenever I pump it up aswel :censored:

On the front are two Milnza Hero's.... no idea what theyre supposed to cost and cant find any reviews but like I say I dont get great traction in the wet with them so if anyone can tell me im correct for saying theyre pap id be happy with that.

If it were me I'd get all 4 changed. Having a no name brand on the front just aint my idea of safety....

Has it been a bit hairy testing them in the snow?

I've had a few hairy moments in the snow with the goodyears but in fairness they class the gsd3's as summer tyres so it's to be expected. In all other conditions their brilliant.

totally down to driving styles and where you drive. But at 20-25k a year I guess mostly motorway and that doesn't really take anything out of tyres if your steady. I say a ball park of around 8-10k mixed spirited driving and on the motorways 15k

No idea tbh but i'm sure you should feel the difference. I have always took it steady for 100 miles or so, never failed on me yet doing it that way.

I've used GSD3's for the past 6 years on various Leons and they are excellent, however I have since changed to the new Assymetricals about 9 months ago and after 8000 miles my fronts are in need of changing, they are a good tyre but i'm a little dissapointed that they haven't lasted longer.
