Unless you have already gone for remap, full system with down pipe, sports cat, induction kit and TIP, then i think you may be wasting your money. Piper used my car for development and seemed to think that the exhaust manifold was actually ok in standard form,

Cheers for the warning Jamie, I'll look to JBS then (if I decide to go for it). What I'm doing is weighing up the pros and cons of different mods, and then writing a list ready to buy in January.

personally if you want one of the best modifications, as said and agreed by many, get yourself a set of coilovers coupled with 25mm front Neuspeed ARB and 28mm rear Neuspeed ARB

one of the best mods you can do, massively reduces the body roll and really does make the handling go kart like!

yep it will, plus less crashy as the coilies....

the ths manifold is highly discussed on here with some good reviews, its a similar price to that ebay on, just not from ebay!]

well worth doing, anyway to get the gases flowing faster/more efficient is only a good thing.

if youve got full turbo back exhaust, t.i.p, and good induction, then a manny will help no end, but warning be prepped for a bitch to fit.

they are arb droplinks only...

i wouldnt keep trawling ebay for stuff mate unless its used rom a vag vehicle.

you are looking at £140 for eibach rear arb and £220 for front and rear....

mechanic to fit the manny, i would say 3 hours labour should cover it so say £150 upwards

Yeah I noticed alot of the ebay stuff is of questionable quality... you're right

I will keep an eye out for Eibach and Neuspeed ARBs then as I usually like to get a decent buy second hand... Which one is more effective btw - front or rear arb?

I have a friendly mechanic so hopefully he can sort me out :)

rear arb is more effective as it will combat the leons understeer issues, i would go 25mm rear arb not 28mm as htat may be a little stiff and overkill on a road car mate.

the cupra has a front arb already so id just change the rear and spend the other 100 quid on front upper and lower struts to stiffen the front end a little.
