mk2 ibiza cupra 20vt

wel folks bought a white mk2 ibiza 8v last week from gm8,cheers tony,i was only going to fit coilies and some polished D90`s,i fitted them the following day,the problem is ive got 2 20vt engines in the garage,i decided to fit one in the cupra !!!2 days later ive got the bam code engine sat in the cupra,running on a 16v gearbox and cable change selector.im a fabricator by trade so tomorrow im going to fab up a down pipe,an order a qpeng ecu an loom,ive fitted 20vt engines in my 2 mk2 golfs before so i find it easyish,ive got loads of ideas for this little spaniard ,i`l be posting some pics this week of the car an conversion,but here is a pic of my last 20vt conversion i did to my last golf mk2

yeah engine an box sat in the car already,go to fit sprinter intercooler an some little farty bits then it should be done.going looking around scrapys today to find bits an a mk3 20vt cupra plastic engine cover.

I like that golf! . Some pictures would be good as I'm considering doing a 1.8 20v T conversion in my Ibiza next summer. So any pictures/advice etc will be a big help!

cheers for the comments guys,the seats are recaro classics,they came out of a old merc,they are fully electric i modded them to fit the mk2.

Pretty much the same fitment mate, just a few of the brackets didn't line up but it seems sturdey enough! Only reason i put it in as we used the whole Ibiza Cupra wiring loom.

I think the mk3 dash would be a 'must' have, if I were to do a 1.8T conversion.
