well any cat looks the same internally... whether its stock or a performance one.... if you look inside then they look like the inside of a crunchie.... a performance cat is just designed to be less restrictive. you will have more power gains from a decat than a performance cuz a decat is essentially just a bit of pipe...so its not restrictive at all.....

put it like this......try running to the end of your street and back with a sponge over your face(performance cat)!!

then do it without the sponge (decat)

u get wat im saying.... but each car will react differently to a decat....it just depends on your ECU at the end of the day and if it alters the fueling etc to compensate for the increased amount of global warming gas coming out the back...
