Be carefull with cheap shocks. I have the hottuning ones on my mazda mx5 and they are great, firm but great. however the car doesn't get driven much. I have the hottuning ones on my Leon TDi and they have been a nightmare! I have gone through 4 sets of front shocks. They keep breaking. Seems they aren't built to do lots of miles over bumpy roads. To be fare they were all replaced under guarantee but i have had to pay to have the new ones fitted each time. I am now looking into replacing the hole lot for better quality shocks, like wietec or kw. I would recommend the cheap ones if you dont do many miles, but if you do lots of miles over pot hole ridden roads then i would spend more on quality shocks.
