coilovers

i fitted my vmaxx coilovers today and all is well except the is a ticking noise coming from the front right hand side of the car that gets faster as i accelerate , when i turn right it goes away but when i go left it gets worse , anyone have any ideas?

check inside of the wheel mate could be something like a tyre wieght catching the strut.

i had mine fitted to weeks ao on my mk2 and i have very slight noise when i turn left but not right. Its not marking the tyre though....Have you got any marks on the tyre ???

It may be that youve knocked the tracking out mate as i had to have mine aligned after.

no tyres fine plenty of clearance , sounds like it could be a shaft or something , ill raise it and see what happens

thers a counter weight on the right side drive shaft, its catchin ur chassis inner wing, just knock further down with a drift n hammer job done hope it cures it, it did on mine

or you need to change your top mounts

i used my original top monts as the ones that came with the coilovers just didnt seem to work , ill try the couterweight thing as i does sound like it could be somethingn like that , ill let you know how i get on and thatnks again

So you used your old worn ones??? I know a mate wiv a mk3 that had the same problem as this and turned out to be the top mount as he used his old one.
