visited alloy dealer today...he reckoned 17"s would be too hard on the car and its brakes?!?!
anyone have any issues?!?!never heard anyone mention this before...

He might be thinking about the standard suspension and brakes on a 1.2! Tend to be softer and smaller than higher performance models. Maybe a chance to upgrade those as well!

was kinda hoping to just go cosmetics route..lol.il wait till i get my 2L turbo type car before i start working on d performance parts....

was kinda hopin the 17s or 18s would make it look well without lowerin...
so i should stick with moving up to 16s????

maybe i should run down shop and get euromillions lotto ticket

lol I bought some TSR Sugo Alloys with yokohama tyes but my crrent tyre size is 195/55/15 inch but the ones av bought are 195/65/15 inches, I just wanted to know whether they will fit, i hope they do :

Depends of offsets mate, 65 is a BIG sidewall though and imo will look silly!

Should do, ET is quite High so no problems there I reckon!

Nope nope nope... ET 42 is too far inside. Got ET35 on 8" and there are only few mm from the shock absorber .. Well, u can try but.. Doubt they fit.

Yes spacers low ET number. EG, Standard 17" FR wheels are et41 so with 20mm spacer the new et would be et21.

No you should be fine! Some people would recommend you do it in time if you are serious about upgrading your car but then others will say its not worth it on a 1.2! Just do what you want really...
