Hey guys, I need some help, basically I went to fit my HID kit today, I took off the plug from the back of the halogen bulb, the instructions said for me to connect the kit to this plug, so I went red to red and black to brown, connected it all up and there is no light, no light on my other headlight either, I checked the connections and they seemed ok, as it was starting to get dark, I aborted the mission and took the kit back out and put the halogen bulb back in, but my headlights on both sides now do not work, I am guessing it's the fuse, but why should that have gone all of a sudden, am I doing something wrong? is there a seperate fuse for each headlight or does one do both? so I tried to check the fuses but I cant get to the fuse box, my manual said that it's on the side of the dash by the drivers door, behind the cover, but I just cant seem to remove it, how does it come off?

Any help would be much appreiated:redface:

Sounds to me like you bought one of the really bad kits that draw a lot of power at the initial startup. They're usually supplied with bigger fuses, which will just postpone the inevitable: Burnt wire harness. I'd get my money back and get a proper kit.
There's lots of cheap kits from China that'll ignite properly without fitting bigger fuses. CEBT kits are really great value.

Just ordered a set of these with the 6000K anti glare bulbs and the white sidelights. Typed in the code 'toyota pro' and saved myself £55.38 off my order!! Took it from £221.39 down to £166.11  [B)]

now just got to wait for them to turn up!

Nice one Jay, thats exactly what I paid:D
They didn't take long to turn up, service was very good, if your lucky you might get them tomorrow, but probably monday, it took me a couple of hours to fit them, I ended up using a soldering iron to burn the holes in the back of the covers as mentioned by richibizasport, then filed them down to get a nice fit for the rubber plugs, so this took a little while, but it was quite straight forward from then on, I'm off to spain for a long weekend, but will post some pic's up here next week:D

I drove down to devon and back straight after they were fitted, 200 mile round trip, the light on the road was amazing and I never got flashed once by anyone:Dso they must be spot on, you wont be dissapointed, best purchase I've made:D
