Hi All!

Is here anyone who's got 35 mm KONI springs in his car?I've got a 1.4 tsi 1p Leon and I already ordered those KONI springs, but I'm not sure that I made the best decision...I would like to ask for any kind of experience and maybe pictures about cars with it.
Thanks for Your help,
Bálint from Hungary

Obviously a wider than std wheel on the same offset is going to stick out a little.
Am i right in thinking a higher offset will make the wheel in? Never really grasped offsets??

The lower the offset(ET) the more the mounting point is toward the center of the wheel, making the weel stick out more.
Higher offset, the other way around.

If you have a wider it will stick out more on the inside&the outside with the same offset value.

So slightly wider (1.8" wider) id need a slightly lower ET to stop the inside of the rim fouling the suspension or elsewhere...

Bbs CH's are wider than std cupra rims. Is 1.5" wider enough on the cupra for me to need to go lower offset??

Yup, but you'll have to keep in mind that you can go only so far to the outside or you'll get a fender issue.

I think the easiest for you is just to get de diamter & width & ET(offset) value and search the forum.

Somebody has probably already tried it [B)] why invent the wheel again :p

why dont you ask someone who got them thats usually more than willing to help out.
try ZBOYD for example. hes got 19" on his, and i think he just put them straight on.
and lets face it, they dont look too bad do they?

I bought exactly what ZBOYD has on his Cupra just over five weeks ago. I looked at several different options and after reading his rave reviews over the BBS Wheels and Vredstein Tyres I thought they would be the safest option to go on my Cupra.

I should be receiving them later this week or early next week.

I really love this combo, looks well understated but then the wheels make it look like a beast! I'm not really a fan on black on black, I seem to be the only one lately lol

Has it been lowered or is it just the 19"s filling our the arch more?

Anyone know what body kit the white one has on it?

Also, what alloys are those on the Silver car?

How thick am i, got the same wheels as the silver one on mine, i thought they were standard, at least thats what the dealer told me, look good though, think there rubbing on my arches a little though over some of the bigger bumps

hi all,

what's your opinion about an 18x8,5 Et 55 wheel to take it on my Leon 1.4 tsi?is this size suitable for mine?the stock wheel is Et 50 in 16",I'm quite afraid about the 8,5 and the ET 55,but I really like theese RH blackpolished.
thanks for your help,
