Hello Guys & girls!!

Soon to become a member of the clan, was thinking the other day as I noticed a couple of you have centre armrest on your Seat Cupra's.

How did you go about this? Are they easy to fit?

The interior on the car I have put a deposit down on is black with grey centre if that helps [B)]

the accessory armrest kit shown on SEAT UK is virtually identical to the factory fit item and much much cheaper. the colour of the plastic underneath is very slightly different but the fabric, size, shape and mountings are all the exact same

if you do a search for golf mk4 arm rest, and find the thread called "Can I use a golf 4 arm rest metal base?" all you need to know is in there. ebay would be the best option, a new one from a stealer would be about £120. where as you can get mk4 golf ones on ebay for about £40 ish. there's a sort of fitting guide as well.

Best thing i've done to mine, although the only other is the rear wiper - Touran :ban:

Simple job, just take your time with the coin tray. Make sure you have all the brackets in the kit :)

Got mine on ebay from a SEAT dealer selling spares - looks great and makes driving a lot more comfortable

Quick question about this, does anyone know if I need anything else apart from the ebay kit that people are selling with fittings?

Have been told I may need to pop to the dealer and get a kit for £30?

Any ideas?

If you buy a genuine part, everything you need will be in the box.

If once it's fitted, it doesn't look level or square, you need to trim more around the top of the coin tray.

I fitted mine about 2 years ago, one of the best 'mods' I've done :D Not had any problem with it squeaking either

Bought mine from ebay, I think the seller was a Seat dealer in Belgium.

hi people, just fitted mine today. took about 5 hours and was a terrible job!

The problem i have now is that you can see where i have cut the coin tray and inserted the arm rest and there are gaps between the centre console and arm rest now and it looks quite shabby. any suggestions on how to cover this or tidy it up?

I have the genuine arm rest like below:

I have seen there are some arm rests with a base to them that would cover this hole but cannot find any. all i would need is the base.

any help?
