Golf mk4 Recaro seats in Ibiza?

Hi can any one help i have been offered a nice recaro 3 door trim in black & grey would be a great upgrade in my TDI sport 130bhp Seat Ibiza.

Has any one swapped the seats over?

I dont want to start to modifying the frames straight swap would be great just thought id ask before I attempt to swap them on wednesday.

Any help or advice would be great thanks

no one has done it, rash was thinking of it iirc ut then it involved to much work. Audi tt seat fit from what adlav was saying iirc

i thought he got some for his cupra then he was gona chuck them in his golf...................................... o i dont know

Well it was something like that mate.

think the long and short is they wont fit.

na dont fit in the beezer and would be a pain to get them to fit aswell! as the ibiza has two rails as the base and the reccaros in the golf have plate at the front and two mechanical adjusting arms with rollers on

best way would be to cut and swap subframes over

i dont know ANYONE thats changed their seats in the ibiza? i was going to do r32 seats till i saw the subframe setup

They (and mk1 TT) seats won't fit. The runner is down the middle. If you had an Arosa or Lupo you'd be fine.
