Hi guys,

I have been reading reviews on here about the installation of a HID kit. I hope o fir mine next week (weather permitting).

One questions though, everyone seems to be talking about having to wire the kit back to the battery. My kit (HIDS 4 U pro Plus) says nothing at all about wiring back to the battery. It only says about conecting it to the original wiring. It also says that it takes the power that it needs through the OEM fitting.

I dont have any other cables to connect up, so i guess i dont need the battery leads.

Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks

I’ve personally never heard anything about picking a live up from the battery. Mine were just “plug & play”

Fitted my Ultimate HID's from HIDs4U on Friday and there was no battery wires, just a straight swap with 2 pins to go into your exsiting H7 connection. 8000K bulbs and look awesome. Fitted in about half hour once i found a inch drill bit which probably took another half hour!

I used a 25mm (approximately 1 inch) hole saw, but I guess it depends on the size of the grommet supplied. What does your kit say you should use?
