Honestly if you want to UPGRADE your brakes this will not really UPGRADE the braking performance.

The Brembo discs are better than most but the DS2500 pads are better than the OEM ones.
If you want to UPGRADE then you will have to go for 2 piece discs with High Boiling Point (HBP) brake fluid.
Bill does a very very nice 2 piece set up for £650 including fitting kit.

TBH anything other than the OEM brembo discs are a compromise on preformance and being a bit cheaper.

2 Piece discs are the only real performance upgrade and good pads like DS2500 over the OEM set up.

Although I've not tried them myself, I've not read too many good things about yellow stuff (from scoobynet and SXOC). Whilst all I hear for the ferodo is praise.

I'd pay the extra 30 quid, after checking prices with Badger5.

PS Nothing said about the discs as to the make and or quality.

I've just got the 2-piece 330mm set from Badger5.
Top notch quality and fantastic performance.

DS2500's are great pads for pad lcr's above and beyond stock pads.
i am not a fan of drilled disks tho, no matter who's make as they in my experience always crack at some point and wear ripply on the surface.
Ultimax disks are ok, combined with ds2500's, and 2 piece are an option for lighter cooler running disks, albeit they are more costly.

depends on how far you want to go..
ds2500 pads are a good start for improved stopping power.

one piece disks (ultimax) are pretty good

330x28 2-piece are a motorsport setup which are both significantly lighter, slightly bigger, but run cooler. more aimed for those to nuke their one piece disks on "hard" use. need more tlc in the owning/bedding process to avoid issues, but done well they work well. my ibiza racecar run these exact bells & rotors last 2 race seasons to very good effect. I run ds3000 pads tho, only difference.

I've just purchased standard EBC discs and Ferodo DS2500 from the same company for £199.99, which I think is a good price.

From what I have read on here the standard EBC discs coupled with the DS2500 are pretty good value. The braking is supposed to be as good as the stock discs and pads, if not a little better.

I plan to put them on the LCR tomorrow, hopefully the change over will be pretty straight forward.

The EBC discs that are well thought of on here (by some) are EBC Ultimax not just the standard ones

You should also consider EBC discs & yellow stuff pads - I got them from Backdraft and they are excellent. The compound of the pads have been changed to make them road legal but they do still need a little warmth.

Ferodo between the two.
But as your first post states you want to upgrade your brake this will not be an upgrade over the OEM discs, but the pads will be an upgrade to the OEM
