hi guys,
i know there is alot of peeps on here who can help so here it goes,

by usc next year i want my car to be 200bhp or bit more if pos.

now celtic tuning say thier rempa will bring my car which is an ibiza fr 130 to 185bhp and 310lb of torque.

how can i get the extra 20 to 30bhp?

and what would i need?

please guys theres losing and reputation on the line lol

to see 200bhp or more on a PD130 you have to change the turbo.

You will require a FMIC aswell.

as all stated previously.

PD160 intake... 50pounds? green filter 30-40 pounds? FMIC 400ish (seat sports fmic), exhaust 100+ pounds & turbo + mapping 1000+ pounds depending on turbo and map.

T Spark on this forum ran his PD130 at 202ish BHP on standard turbo, with a large freeflow exhaust, however the turbo did not last very long .

However it is pritty straight forward to get 180ish out of a PD130 without changing intercooler or turbo.

But dont be fooled, an uprated clutch would be a good mod, and necesary definately when wanting the 200bhp mark. maybe even LSD to help with the power.

As what bbewekim said really, minus

Exhaust will be closer to £400 and a turbo is £1200 then a remap at £500ish.

Plus clutch @ a min. of £600-700.

Also, what other mods do you already have? Std suspension? std brakes? std f/arb? No point in having 200bhp+ and run standing handling.

Just a shame April's bonus won't be as much as usual, but I should be all Hybrided up by next summer.

Remap
Turbo back exhaust and a filter should get you close, id get a front mount intercooler aswell. Can i ask why you are aiming for specific BHP figures ?
there is much more to going fast than BHP, like TORQUE, WEIGHT, HANDLING MODS, TYRES etc etc

If i were starting from scratch id do (engine only mods)
turbo back exhaust
air filter and 160intake
front mount
remap

Oh and i would recomend an uprated clutch if you want to be able to use the new performance to its full.

Then see what you think of it, i think you would be suprised if you did that lot.

so been as it only 15 bhp more i wondered what i had to do get the 200bhp figure.

not wanting to spend all tht money for 15bhp tho lol

prob just stick to remap filter 160 intake then lower it and do the exhaust.

do you get much noise from exhaust tho cos longlife have built me an exhaust before and they sed they don't think it will do much?

His would be exchange however, as its PD130.

Is your turbo a Turbo technics then? T Spark has a Turbo Dynamics stage 2

i been quoted a td2 turbo with 150 exchange 550 plus 200 for the 150 unit
i got i think around 200bhp mark on a standard unit with 1.6 bar
had194 then got turbo back zorst now its much faster pulls away from my mates ctr where before he slightly edged in on me
i think 200 is achievable without stupid boost

oh na a full zorst on tdi makes them stupid loud mine was 99 decibels before i removed the cat

And then a map on top, so roughly £850 ish not inc labour for turbo fitting.

yeah i guess if you can go without a car till ya td2 fitted..but thats for a perfect working turbo ones that need more work obviously the price goes up
cos i only got the 130 i neeed to buy the turbo too but ill sell my old unit to try and make some money back
